With this the tail end of the core repairs / another J30 has completed the task
Has anyone replaced the exhaust thru hull with a stainless steel model? I have been on the hunt for one and may decide to have one made instead.
Any heads up would be appreciated

Taras - nice work. Did you use gelcoat or Awlgrip? I bought fiberglass tube from Jamestown Distributors for the exhaust when I redid the transom on Rhapsody.

As the exhaust is water cooled and rubber hosed, perhaps a custom SS flange may be a bit of overkill?

Bill's idea of a fiberglass pipe will probably really bond well. On 526 we used the existing one as the inside skin was sound. and Horatio just worked from the inside skin out.

It was finished with new gelcoat

I see you did not cut all the way to the seams. Were you able to remove the core there or was it solid glass in the corners
