Russ Atkinson Senior Member Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 393 Rockwood, MI, USA	unless you have a 20'-30' extender for your trailer, I could not imagine floating your boat off. Plus, my trailer is painted steel- not aluminum and I doubt that the wiring would endure a lot of dunking. We sling it on and off the trailer.
