Interesting. I did notice RigRite mentioned that it is riveted along the bottom of the boom only. The needed increase in moment of inertia achieved should not matter whether the side walls are touching. Perhaps having an air gap between the walls would be a good thing from a corrosion perspective? I'll let the group know what I receive when mine arrives.
